by an English couple, the Ruffles Beach
Resort is an ideal place for guests looking
for a truly laid-back, comfortable and value
for money vacation. It is situated in Candolim,
barely a few meters away from the silver
beach. The resort is a 45-minute drive from
the Goa airport and just 20 minutes to the
twin cities of Panjim and Mapusa. The resort
has an English restaurant and bar that serves
a proper English breakfast including as
well as a la carte menu. Beef, seafood and
Yorkshire puddings are available at the
restaurant. The bar is stocked with an assortment
of spirits. Local bands play live folk,
country and blues in the evenings. Guests
can take a swim in the outdoor swimming
pool to relax. |

The restaurant has been designed in the
style of a distinctive English lounge.
Start the day with a typical European
breakfast. For lunch and dinner the a
la carte menu has a variety of Indian
and continental dishes. The hotel recommends
their extensive non-vegetarian selections
from roasted beef and pork, steaks, kebabs
and grilled seafood. End the meal with
a delicious Yorkshire pudding. The attached
bar serves an assortment of beers, wines,
liquors and soft drinks. Meals are also
served in the patio for guests who prefer
the outdoors.
